The first encounter with OHARA . . .

it's magnificent scenes attract global tourists from all around the world 

although it's quiet remote from main city, Kyoto.

It was quiet an adventure finding out way there but it was worth indeed.

especially to someone like me who want to visit somewhere far escaping from the city

but there's some quality time with authentic beauty of nature and good food.

Our 2 nights and 3 days staying here.



On our arrival, dinner was already ready for us!

Very simple and healthy for Breakfast !




Our last night drinking Saka(Japanese traditional alcohol made from fermented rice) with mom



Japanese food, Sukiyaki which is usually cooked at the table as you eat. 



Open-air bath outside baths 



It was one my best moment of this trip soaking in the snow



At a price of 9,450 Yen(per person) including a room and two meals at Ohara,

It was all worth it!
