Mofao!! 내가 가진 것을 최대한 나누라! (레소토 문화)

       MOFAO  'provision' 

If someone leaves for somewhere for a while and comes back,

They usually bring something back to their village neighbors and family members.

In old days, people used to bring meat but it can be anything you can share together.

Even when you go far to take a long journey, people give something to eat on your way.

It shows its sharing culture in Lesotho.

주말동안 잠시 도시에 다녀오거나, 남아공에 볼 일을 보고 올 경우,

레소토 시골 마을에서는 '선물'을 가져와야 하는 문화가 있다.

사탕, 과자, 빵, 고기 등 그 어떤 것이든 상관없다. 

이는  마을을 떠나 다시 보금자리를 찾을  때 반갑게 나를 기다려주고 맞아주는 

이웃과 가족들에게 보여주는 이들의 나눔의 모습이다.

주말 잠시 자리를 비우고 돌아 온 내게, ' 선물 어디있어? 사탕 줘! ' 라고

질문을 받는다고 괜한 오해와 화를 낼 필요가 없는 것이다!
