This expression allows African men to cheat the wife as you know that 

Mokopu(Pumkin) spreads itself in the garden so easily.

Bo mme ke cabbage oa ipopa - She always cover herself.

This expression allows African women not to go out and cheat their husband.

남자는 호박! 여자는 양배추! 

아프리카 남성과 여성을 비유하는 아주 재미있는 표현이다.

단 1명의 아내, 여자친구에 만족하지 못하고 늘 더 많은 여성을 원하는 남자들을 

집 앞 텃밭 수많은 작물들 중, 천지사방으로 뻗어나가는 호박으로 비교하고

그런 남자들 틈에 자신을 최대한 감추고 보호하려고 하는 여성을

두꺼운 껍질로 속을 겹겹이 에워싸는 양배추에 비교하고 있다.
