레소토에 살면서 나에게 가장 큰 가르침을 주신 분,바로 나의 어머니, 메 타비타('M'e Tabitha).우연히 2010년 레소토 디피링마을에 처음 도착해서 어머니를 선물로 받았다.한 집 아래 같이 살지는 않았지만 2010년 - 2012년 나의 디피링 생활에서 가장 아프고 힘들 때 누구보다 제일 가까이서 나를 지켜주신 분이다. 디피링 초등학교 초대 교장선생님으로 지금은 76세의 나이로 은퇴 후,혼자 집에서 살고 계신다.약 20년 전 교통사고로 다리를 다치고 거동이 많이 불편하지만그 어느 곳의 노인들처럼 홀로 모든 집안일을 해야하는 수고로 힘들게 지내고 계신다. 아무것도 모르던 25살 아프리카 땅에 홀로 와 마을 주민들과 어떤 변화를 만들어보겠다고 혼자 끙끙대던 내게많은 교훈과 가르침을 주신 분이다. 남들..
